No Point

As the stats of the boards's results showed up in the newspapers,I noticed the following facts.
1) 1900 odd students in Delhi are in 90's .Compare it with last year's only, you will find the number was around 1200.
2)Passing percentage of students has risen to a much greater extent.

Has the level of talent in students risen or the level of paper set has sunken.
The students who dont desrve to pass have actually passed.
Above all,the suicide prone students still exist. So does the bringing down of standards of examinations solve the problems. So why show the world that our students score big scores.

actually there are two things...
not only the level of paper has been lowered and it has become predictable too but now-a-days,,,,lot of money is also being spend on the coaching ,tuitions or these sort of things and even schools are adopting strategies for their high marks.Ans also there is a lot of awareness these days,,,,all this contributes to that high score result but those who doesn't wants to study at all still exist,,,,and will continue to exist in future too.

uummm...i dont think standard of papers has gone down as i myslef hold the first hand experience in this..but the problem is free distribution of marks by CBSE to those who may or may not deserve it..in our school itself there r many such examples..in arts the guy who literally used to flunk is a topper in history this time n the girl who used to top has got 49 in the same!!
our education system is somewhere blind to what really education is in reality!
